Lisa Lillien Has Countless Delicious Recipes Promoting Weight Loss!

My wife Kim and I first met Lisa Lillien, the founder of hungry-girl.com, in 2003 at her NYC launch party.

We instantly loved what Lisa was all about, and we had a feeling what she was up to was going to be big, though I doubt at that time Lisa thought it was going to be as big as it’s gotten.

In fact it’s not just big, it’s ENOURMOUS!

So from the first time we met Lisa, we were fans, and we’ve been faithful subscribers and evangelists of what she shares with people all the time.

We have all of her books and we’ve made a boatload of her tasty recipes. But the other day when she gave us a signed copy of her latest cookbook “The Hungry Girl Diet,” I thought I’d have some fun and really take a deeper dive into her ever-expanding world of recipes.

Which is why I love what she does, and it’s why I think she has so many loyal fans.

More often than not, when people decide they want to lose weight, they almost always adopt a deprivation mentality.

“I Can’t Have…” mentality.

I can’t eat anything with carbs…

I can’t eat anything with fat…

I can’t eat anything with sugar…

And the big one…

I can’t eat anything that tastes good…

When in fact, the real challenge isn’t as much what we can eat, but what we think we can’t, and we won’t… until like a rubber band we stretch that declaration out to our own pre-determined breaking point, and we let it go, or it just snaps.

It could be one day, one week, one month, maybe even a year.
